Don't panic - asbestos is only dangerous when disturbed. If it is safely managed and contained it doesn't present a health hazard. Removing it can be more dangerous than simply containing it.

We had some areas in our laundry room that we were thinking had asbestos. We had Peter come out and take a look at our pipes in the ceilings and at our furnace.

He was very informative and professional and taught us quite a bit about asbestos. We did not have any asbestos in our basement that he could see.

He did inform us though that if we were to do a knock down of walls or any kind of demo the materials should be analyzed and sent to a lab. So if we do need to use him in the future we definitely would give him a call.
